Ahna Capri is an American television and film actress widely known for the role of Secretary Tania in the groundbreaking, era-defining martial arts film Enter the Dragon, 1974. The film was a worldwide success, catapulting the cast to unimaginable fame and opening the door to an endless array of possibilities. However, even before her iconic role in the blockbuster hit, Ahna had extensive acting experience in her professional career, having started her career as a child.

The talented and accomplished actress has appeared in several films and television series during her acting career, including Kisses for My President, One of Our Spies Is Missing, The Specialist, Room For One More, Bronco and Father Knows Best. Ahna Capri Biography

The Enter the Dragon actress was born on July 6, 1944, in West Germany as Anna Marie Nanasi, but she moved with her family to the United States at the age of 6. As a child she had a love of acting that could not be taken out of her, so she began to attend auditions and training courses to pave her way into the acting industry.

Her perseverance and passion were soon rewarded when she was cast in shows like Father Know Best, The Adventures of Rin Tin Tin and The Danny Thomas Show. She was only 11 years old at the time, but that didn’t stop her from giving her roles everything she had. Ahna Capri landed more television spots on The George Burns, Gracie Allen Show and Leave it to Beaver. She had her first appearance in the film Outlaw’s Son at the age of 13.

After that Ahna had several film and television appearances and played a variety of characters in “Wanted”: Dead or Alive, McCallin’s Daughter, The Littlest Client, Trackdown, Room for One More, Cheyenne, Maverick, 77 Sunset Strip, Sugarfoot, and Bronco. In 1967 the actress appeared in the third season of Twelve O’Clock High as Cpl. She also appeared in The Monroes, Run for Your Life, Adam-12, The Iron Horse, Cannon, The F.B.I., Baretta, The Guns of Will Sonnett, Mannix, The Invaders, and Banyon. Some of her other notable roles include appearances in The Mod Squad, The Wild Wild West, Branded, The Man From U.NC.L.E., Banacek, Laredo, Kojak, Police Story, Ironside, and Search.

In the 1970s, the actress Ahna adopted the spelling of her name and claimed that many people often mispronounce her name. As a result, she got several memorable roles on television and in movies like “Enter the Dragon”, “Payday”, “Piranha”, “The Specialist”, “The Brotherhood of Satan”, “Dan August”, “Target: Harry”, “I Spy”, “Darker than Amber”, “The Girls on the Beach” and “The Bingo Long Traveling All-Stars & Motor Kings”. Ahna’s last movie appearance was in 1979.

Ahna Capri died on August 19, 2010, ten days after she was involved in a terrible car accident. A 5-ton truck rammed her car and she had to be taken to hospital. After the accident, she was in a coma and had to be put on life support until her death. Ahna was sixty-six years old when she died.

The beautiful blond bombshell was born of Hungarian parents in former West Germany. Her parents lived at that time in a camp for displaced persons. They finally emigrated to America in 1950 to seek refuge with the rest of their family. The names of Ahna Capri’s parents are unknown. The actress has a sister named Rose, who was in the hospital when she died, but the names of her other siblings are unknown, if at all.
