Artie Lange was born Arthur Steven Lange on October 11, 1967, in Livingston, New Jersey. He then grew up in Union Township, Union County, with his parents, Judy Lange and Arthur Lange Sr.
Through his father, Artie Lange is of German and Native American descent, the latter he discovered only at the age of 36 in 2003. Through his mother, he is of Italian descent.
