Scott was born in Detroit, Michigan on Christmas Day (December 25) of 1995. Hailie Jade Scott-Mathers was not home-schooled like many other prominent children; she attended Chippewa Valley High School in Michigan, where she played volleyball and was a member of the National Honor Society. After high school, she went to Michigan State University where she earned a degree in psychology.
She told the Mail in 2017 that she had not yet decided what she would do now that she left college. However, the brunette beauty is interested in the beauty industry, so we wouldn’t be shocked if she would excel in the industry in the near future.

As already mentioned, Jade Scott is the daughter of the US rapper Eminem and his ex-wife, Kim Scott. Kim met Eminem during high school at a mutual friend’s party while the rapper stood on a table with no shirts on and rapped “I’m Bad” by LL Cool J. They became friends, and when he was just fifteen years old, Kim and her twin sister Dawn ran away from home and moved in with Eminem and his mother.
Kim and the rapper began a recurring relationship in 1989. In December 1995 they welcomed their first child together, but things were not so easy for the couple. According to reports, Eminem allegedly had to work sixty hours a week as a cook and dishwasher at a family restaurant in Michigan to feed his family.
Apart from the lack of funds to support the family, Kim and Marshall Bruce Mathers III were not a perfect couple; they never really got along with each other, and so Jade grew up in a violent household where her parents were constantly fighting and raising their voices.
The couple was married twice before finally deciding to go their separate ways in 2006. They first married in 1999, four years after Jade’s birth, divorced in 2001, remarried in January 2006, and finally separated for good that same year, but agreed to joint custody of their daughter.
Hailie Jade grew up with her cousin Alaina Mathers, who adopted her parents after her mother (Kim’s twin sister) was unable to care for her, and with Whitney – Kim’s daughter from another relationship, who also adopted Eminem. In total, Kim has three biological children: Hailie Jade Scott-Mathers, Whitney Scott, and Parker Scott.
In 2003, Kim was charged with cocaine possession, fined, and put on probation, but she violated her parole and was sentenced to one month in prison. In 2015, she attempted suicide by crashing her car into a stationary pole but survived the accident. In 2016 she lost her twin sister to a heroin overdose and experienced depression.

Scott currently lives in Detroit, Michigan, in her own four-bedroom home, just minutes away from her mother’s and her siblings’ apartment.

Hailie was crowned Homecoming Queen at her high school in 2013. She was accompanied by her mother while her father watched from somewhere on the school grounds, as he didn’t want to cause a scene.
She was a senior high school student at Chippewa Valley High School. Scott graduated Summa Cum Laude, which means she had a grade point average of 3.9 and/or above.
