London Perrantes Bio – Ethnicity

London Perrantes was born on 3 October 1994 in Los Angeles, CA with Karina and London Perrantes Sr. and attended Crespi Carmelite High School, where he met and was trained by Russell White. There he volunteered for Hoops for Home and the Crespi Carmelite High School Impact Program.

London Perrantes played with players who were much older than himself while he was in high school, and soon developed a characteristic tranquility and was quite aware in his game, set him down and put him on the radar of Washington State football player Nico Grasu. Nico Grasu warned university basketball coach Tony Bennett of the young player’s potential. However, Bennett was soon hired by Virginia and London Perrantes decided to go to Virginia for Bennett, but also for a higher academic level and the Atlantic Coast Conference.

To go to Virginia, London Perrantes declined an offer from the USC, especially after Kevin O’Neill was dismissed as a coach. London actually played football in the quarterback position in 2009/2010 as a freshman. He studied African American Studies and African Studies. He soon started playing basketball and as a senior, he averaged 19.9 points and 5.8 assists per game.

In his final year, he was named the 2nd Team All-Atlantic Coast Conference and took 2nd place in the top 100 college players beaten only by Grayson Allen. London Perrantes, however, was not designed in the 2017 NBA draft and instead signed a summer league contract with Miami Heat. As a result, he was signed to the San Antonio Spurs on 23 August 2017 but was abandoned before the start of the season.
