Born on July 18, 1991, as Amanda Saccomanno in the New York suburb of Westchester County, New York, the professional wrestler is popularly known by her ring name Mandy Rose. She grew up in her birthplace in an Italian-American family and is the youngest of her parents’ four children, with three older brothers. According to her, she grew up playing football and as a punching bag for her brothers, and that, she said in an interview, is the root of her aggressiveness and athleticism. As she grew up, Mandy played other sports for years, including lacrosse, softball, and basketball, in addition to gymnastics and dance.

She graduated from Yorktown High School and then moved on to Iona College, where she studied speech pathology and earned her bachelor’s degree. Straight out of college, Mandy Rose entered her first amateur fitness competition with the WBFF (World Beauty Fitness & Fashion) in 2013 and took first place. A year later she participated in the World Bodybuilding Fitness & Fashion Boston Show, where she competed against hundreds of women from different countries and emerged as the winner.

Also in 2014, the wrestler was crowned World Beauty Fitness & Fashion Bikini World Champion. Her newly discovered exposition was accompanied by sponsorship opportunities, photoshoots, and magazine covers, but despite her vast experience, Mandy felt the need to be challenged and longed for more.

Meanwhile, as she grew up, Mandy Rose was never a fan of the WWE and was in no way interested in becoming a wrestler. At the beginning of her professional wrestling career, Miss Saccomanno took part in the sixth season of the WWE Tough Enough competition. She took on the ring name Mandy Rose during the season finale and although she did not emerge as the winner of the competition, she was signed to the WWE with a 5-year contract. She subsequently made her ring debut for the WWE NXT in Venice, Florida on 30 January 2016. Since then Mandy Rose has fought in several matches and continues to make waves in the industry.

Before that, Mandy was engaged to Michael Lubic. They started their date in 2010, and in 2016 Michael asked the question, and with Mandy’s positive answer they got engaged.
