Between her film debut year and the following year, she appeared in several other short films, such as In a World… as Nancy, in Turkey Day as Jane, in K.I.T. as C.J., in Gregory Go Boom as Willie, in The Boyfriend Experience: Girls and Ribs as James’ GF; and in Librarians as Lisa.

She also starred in TV shows such as USB Comedy Originals, Funny or Die, The Midnight Show, Key, and People, Happy Endings, Up All Night, 2 Broke Girls, Comedy Bang! Bang!, The Birthday Boys, Guy Code, One Mississippi, Twin Peaks, Love, Room 104, and Dream Corp, LLC.

Allynne wrote the Amazon television series One Mississippi, in which she starred with Tig Notaro. The television series is a semi-autobiography of the lives of Stephanie and her lesbian partner. In the series, Stephanie was cast as Kate in 10 of 12 published episodes.

Stephanie Allynne is married to Tig Notaro, an American comedian, actor, and podcast host. She was born on March 24, 1971, as Mathilde O’Callaghan Notaro in Jackson, Mississippi. Tig was not a schoolgirl; she dropped out of high school after skipping three grades. She later earned her GED in 1990 while living in Texas. Her name “Tig” was nicknamed by her older brother Renaud Notaro when she was a toddler. Since then she has adopted the name and is now popularly known by that name.

As an actress, Tig has appeared in a variety of films and television shows, including the Tig series, In a World…, Punching Henry, Dog Days, Instant Family, In the Motherhood, One Mississippi, and Star Trek: Discovery.

The lesbian couple met for the first time on the set of In a world… in which they both played the lead role. They met for a while and on January 1, 2015, Tig Stephanie proposed and they got engaged. Neither Tig nor Stephanie knew beforehand that they would be dating someone of the same sex.

Both had experienced a turn of events in their previous relationship with men. Stephanie had not even been in a long-term relationship with a man before they met.

The two finally got married 10 months after they met, on October 24, 2015. The couple welcomed their twin sons Mac and Finn on January 26, 2016, and their children were conceived through surrogacy using Stephanie’s eggs.
