Roxann Caballero, born on September 11, 1958, was born in Los Angeles, California, in the United States of America. She was born of American parents – Rosalie and Richard Caballero. She has American citizenship and belongs to the white ethnic group.
Roxann grew up in her hometown Los Angeles and completed her high school education there. Soon after graduating, she enrolled at the University of California at Berkeley, where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1980. There Roxann participated in various theater productions organized by the school.

Soon after graduating in 1980, Roxann Dawson found her way into the American film industry. Roxann began her first acting activity when she appeared in the Broadway musical A Chorus Line in 1982 in the role of Diane Morales.
