Truett McKeehan Biography
His real name is Truett McKeehan, but his growing fans know him as TruDog, his stage name, and he was born on September 4, 1998, in Franklin, Tennessee. Truett was born into a Christian family with high-ranking parents and grew up in a conservative household in a close-knit family.
The closeness in his family explains his decision to take his father’s steps as a musician. He took his first steps in one of his father’s records, Extreme Days in 2001, and since then he has grown steadily, becoming part of a band and releasing his own solo pieces.
By using the popular music platform SoundCloud, Truett McKeehan and his colleague Bo Smith were able to build a growing fan base. Their group, which goes by the name HySociety, has released a number of projects since its formation, including the album Strictly Free.
