Who is Tyler Priddy aka Flip?
Tyler Priddy was born on the 30th day of November in 1981. The road racer was born in Chickasha, a popular city in Oklahoma, USA. He spent his early days in Oklahoma and also developed his love for cars and racing.

As an adult, he was constantly in the company of other young men who loved adventure and were willing to take risks and live wild. He even reportedly became friends with Justin Shearer, another popular race car driver, when they were both children in Oklahoma. Both men loved muscle cars, and this mutual love of automobiles was what kept them together. With Justin and other boys, they used to take their bikes out and ride them to watch drag racers, dreaming of driving the cars themselves.
Tyler Priddy was born the son of a father named Gene Priddy and a mother named Glenda Long Priddy. Not much is known about what they did for a living or where they originally came from. He has a brother named Chris Priddy, with whom he grew up in Oklahoma.
Growing up, Tyler Priddy attended Hinton Elementary School, a secondary school in Hinton, another Oklahoma town. He then attended Putnam City High School, which he successfully completed.
Flip did not come from a rich family and fought as a young man growing up to make ends meet. He worked as a shopkeeper in Oklahoma and later got a job at Warren Caterpillar, where he worked for about 10 years. While working at Warren Caterpillar, his passion for drag racing grew. He spent a lot of time on the race tracks and gained a certain popularity in Oklahoma as one of the best local dragster drivers. Even while working with Warren Caterpillar, he raced with his friends, competing against the big names of the local drag racing world.
Tyler Priddy had his own racing car, which he called the El Camino. He was so in love with El Camino that he was always seen in it.
What Happened To The Street Outlaws Star?
Eventually, Tyler Priddy got his big break as a racing driver when he got the chance to star in Street Outlaws, an American television series. He auditioned for the series and eventually suggested several other aspiring racers to join the show. His friend Justin Shearer was also on the show.
Street Outlaws premiered on the Discovery Channel on June 10, 2013, and became very popular with the Americans. People were fascinated by Tyler Priddy, who was affectionately nicknamed Flip on the show, especially because of his special car, El Camino.

However, after the first season of Street Outlaws, Tyler Priddy stopped appearing in the following series and the fans became concerned. After some time of speculation, it was revealed that Tyler Priddy had died. The racer reportedly died at his home in the Yukon, a town in the Canadian county of Oklahoma. The sad news caused quite an outpouring of grief among fans and people began to express their condolences.
The racing driver was just 31 years old when he died on 28 May 2013. He died just a few weeks before the premiere of Street Outlaws. His funeral service took place on June 1 at the Chisolm Heights Baptist Church in Mustang. However, the real cause of his death has not been revealed since his death.
There’s been some speculation about how Tyler Priddy died. Some people have claimed that he was depressed and committed suicide in his home. However, this allegation was never proven. Others claimed that the racer died of self-inflicted gunshot wounds after playing drunk and carelessly with a pistol. However, this allegation was also not confirmed.

Tyler leaves behind his parents, brother, and wife who have been identified as Morgan Amber Priddy. Tyler and Amber were deeply in love before he sadly died. The couple had four sons in common. The names of their children were announced as Tovey Gene, Remey J, Dresdyn Rinot and Bennett William Edward.
The memory of the racer is kept by his friends and fellow racers. When he died, they gathered with their muscle cars in his honor.
