Professional American football linebacker Vince Biegel has shown what it means to come from a line of football stars. It is admirable how much resilience and passion he brings to football. Biography of Vince Biegel
Vince Biegel was born on July 2, 1993, in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin. He grew up in Marshfield, Wisconsin, with his father Rock Biegel, and his wife Jamie Biegel. Interestingly, his father played soccer as a linebacker for Brigham Young University (BYU), and his uncle T.D. played fullback alongside his father in BYU. Similarly, Ken Biegel – his grandfather was a linebacker and offensive guard, while his younger brother Hayden Biegel currently plays offensive tackle at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He was named Vince in honor of the legendary Packers coach Vince Lombardi. Vince is an American nationality and belongs to the white ethnic group.

He started playing soccer at a young age and attended Lincoln High School where he began his soccer career in earnest. During his high school career, Vince recorded a total of 172 tackles, 3 interceptions, 5 forced fumbles, and 21 sacks. He won the Wisconsin Football Coaches Defensive Player of the Year award and the Gatorade State Player of the Year award in 2011 and was named to the All-USA High School Football Team by USA Today the same year.

Biegel was scouted by many top universities such as Iowa, Michigan State, Stanford, BYU, and the University of Wisconsin-Madison and selected Wisconsin over other universities. He played as an outside linebacker for the Wisconsin Badgers soccer team for four seasons until 2016.
In his freshman year, he played two games and was eliminated for the rest of the season due to injury. That year he received a medical jersey and the following year he played thirteen games with a record 25 tackles and two sacks. In 2014 he had his breakout season, in which he played 14 games with a total of 56 tackles and 7.5 bags. At the end of the season, Vince Biegel was promoted by the media to All-Big Ten 2, and in the remaining two seasons he improved his gameplay tremendously, ending his high school career as the number one outside linebacker in defense and passing.
Professional Career
Vince Biegel was selected by the Green Bay Packers during the 2017 NFL draft. He made it through the fourth round of the draft and was the 108th overall pick. Following an injury to his fifth metatarsal, Biegel was placed on the list of physically challenged players after signing his rookie contract in March 2017. Eight months later, in November 2017, he was added to the active list.
In his rookie season, he played nine games for the Packers, in which he completed a total of 16 tackles and 11 solo tackles. He is expected to return to top form in his second year in 2018.
Personal Life

In addition to his flourishing football career, Vince is happily married to Sarah Panzenhagen. Just like Vince, Sarah Panzenhagen is from Wisconsin and her family also lives there. The two met a few years ago during their high school days. While Sarah has become a physical fitness trainer, Vince does what he does best on the soccer field.

The duo walked down the aisle just days before Vince’s 24th birthday in July 2017. Their wedding took place before the start of his professional career and was well attended by their family and close friends. The wonderful couple enjoys a blissful married life, they have no children yet, but perhaps they have plans to have children in the future. Sarah is currently a member of the Packers Women’s Association; she has also appeared on the television show Celebrity Sportscaster Show.
