One of the latter is Dillon Danis, considered a prodigy of MMA icon Conor McGregor at a very young age.

Dillon has been a fighter since his youth, and as he has a long career ahead of him, it is worth finding out everything there is to know about this potential MMA star.

What is Dillon Danis’ Age?

Dillon Danis was born on August 22, 1993, somewhere in New Jersey as the son of mother Nikki Danis. Although we know he has two siblings, Carol and Brandon, the identity of his father remains unknown.

After the fight, he decided to deepen the strength of his natural ability and enrolled in a jiu-jitsu academy, the Jaime Cruz Academy in New Jersey. At the academy, Dillon was physically inferior to his classmates because they were not only taller but also older. But he remained persistent and joined the wrestling team at his school to support his training.

At Jaime Cruz’s academy, Dillon Danis went through the jiu-jitsu belt systems and worked his way up to the brown belt. While training at Jaime Cruz’s Academy in New Jersey, he also traveled to New York to train at Marcelo Garcia’s Academy.

At the age of 19, after graduating high school, Dillon Danis decided to become a professional jiu-jitsu practitioner, and he moved to New York to train full-time at Marcelo’s Academy. During this time he participated in various competitions and was awarded a black belt at the age of 22.

About a year later, his hopes of becoming a professional MMA fighter were fulfilled when he was offered the opportunity to serve as Conor McGregor’s coach and main grappling partner to prepare for the fight against his rival Nate Diaz.

With the help of Dillon Danis, Conor McGregor won the fight and achieved victory by decision in the fifth round. The victory triggered an increase in Danis’ reputation and thus his voice as a prominent figure in the UFC.

At the age of 25, after several years as a professional grappling partner, Dillon Danis became an official MMA fighter after signing with Bellator MMA, a mixed martial arts promotion company and rival of the UFC.
