O. J. Simpson is a former NFL player who played for the Buffalo Bills and the San Francisco 49ers. As an athlete, he was head and shoulders over his colleagues, won the Heisman Trophy at college and became the only player to ever rush over 2,000 yards in an NFL 14-game season.
After his retirement, Simpson was inducted into both the College Football Hall of Fame and the Pro Football Hall of Fame. O. J. Simpson Biography
O. J. was born on July 9, 1947, in San Francisco, California, the son of Jimmy Lee and Eunice Simpson in Orenthal James Simpson. Simpson, along with his siblings, was raised by his mother after their parents separated in 1952 when he was just five years old.
The family lived in the residential projects of Potrero Hill in San Francisco. He attended Galileo High School, where he played football for the first time. He played college football at the University of Southern California in 1968, where he won the Heisman Trophy, an award for the most outstanding player in college football.

Simpson entered the league as No. 1 when he took over No. 1 in the AFL-NFL Common Draft in 1969. He was selected by the Buffalo Bills, for whom he played from 1969 to 1977, before moving to the San Francisco 49ers, for whom he played until his retirement in 1979.
Despite many personal successes, O. J. never won a championship. He actually played only one playoff game throughout his 11-year Hall of Fame career.
O. J. Simpson’s Family – Marriages, Children
O. J. Simpson married his childhood sweetheart Marguerite L. Whitley on June 24, 1967, when he was just 19 years old. The couple had three children: Arnelle L. Simpson, born one year after her marriage in 1968, Jason L. Simpson, born 1970, and Aaren Simpson, born 1977.
Simpson divorced Marguerite in March 1979. Two years earlier he had started a relationship with Nicole Brown, a waitress he met in a nightclub. Simpson and Brown later exchanged vows in 1985 and had two children of their own. One daughter; Sydney Brooke Simpson, born 1985, and one son, Justin Ryan Simpson, born 1988. The marriage lasted seven years before Brown filed for divorce and claimed irreconcilable differences.
In 1994 Brown and her friend Ron Goldman were found stabbed to death in front of their apartment. Simpson was arrested and charged with both murders but was later acquitted in the so-called trial of the century.

1st Arnelle is the first child of O. J. Simpson and also the closest to him. She appeared on behalf of her siblings at her father’s probation hearing in 2017 after an armed robbery sentence in 2008. She also appeared alongside her father in his 1995 trial for the murder of her stepmother and girlfriend.
While her father was in prison, she was in charge of all his affairs and took care of him after he was released until he got back on his feet.

Jason Simpson, O.J.’s eldest son, is currently working as a cook in Atlanta, Georgia. He has worked in a number of high-end restaurants, including the eye-catching Italian restaurant St. Cecilia. Jason had previously had hopes of joining the NFL after playing strongly for the Army and Navy Academy in Carlsbad, California.
Aaren Simpson, O. J.’s third child, died in August 1979, a few months before her second birthday. She drowned in the family swimming pool.
4th Sydney Brooke Simpson, O. J.’s third daughter, and first child with the second wife Nicole Brown, currently lives in St. Petersburg, Florida. She graduated from Boston University in 2010 with a degree in Sociology. Reports indicate that Sydney works in the real estate industry and has even changed her name to make herself less visible to the public.
5 Justin Ryan Simpson, the youngest of O. J.’s children, also works as a real estate agent in St. Petersburg. He has led a conflict-free life and maintains a close relationship with his sister Sydney.
