Norman Kali was born in Hawaii. There is little or no information about his date of birth, his parents or his early life. However, it is known that he dropped out of school as a teenager and started odd jobs. At the age of 18, he moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in Hollywood. He has made several successful Hollywood productions in his favor, including his work as a production assistant in the movies/TV shows 50 First Dates (2004), North Shore (2004 – 2005) and Lost (2004 – 2010), among others. The native Hawaiian met Evangeline while working as a production assistant on the set of the TV series Lost. It’s uncertain when the couple actually started dating, but it’s common knowledge that Evangeline later moved to Hawaii to live with Norman in his homeland. The long-term lovebirds have two children together. After Evangeline announced sometime in 2011 that she would take a break from her acting career, her pregnancy rumors were confirmed when her first child, a son named Kahekili (meaning thunder in Hawaiian), was born on May 21, 2011. The Canadian actress was born on August 3, 1979, in Fort Saskatchewan as Nicole Evangeline Lilly. She and her two sisters were raised by her father, who was a teacher, and her mother, a cosmetic consultant, in a low-income and strict religious family. As a teenager, Lilly became interested in humanitarian aid and volunteered for a children’s project. She joined a missionary group that took her to over 14 countries, including the Philippine jungle as a foreign missionary.
